On Sunday, October 01, 1202, the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation honored Dr. Majid Al Hammadi with an honorary shield, during a visit from the Foundation's staff to the doctor at his home, where he lay due to a terminal illness.

 This honor comes in appreciation and gratitude from the Foundation for the efforts of the doctor, which were made in serving mental patients in Taizz governorate in general and the foundation in particular.

Where Dr. Majed is considered one of the rare medical cadres dedicated to his work and loyal to his profession, and he is a role model for all doctors  and living example to follow.
