On Monday, 20/12/2021, the Psychological Support Center of the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation - Ibb, received a delegation from the Ministry of Health and Population, consisting of Mr. Nasser Saleh Omar - Deputy Director General of Technical Cooperation and International Relations at the Ministry of Public Health and Population, Dr. Jamila Ghaleb Al-Haifi - Director of the Mental Health Program at the Ministry of Public Health and Population

Mr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Siaghi - Deputy Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate - Director of Technical Cooperation, Dr. Adel Hussein Al-Khaled - Head of the Local Organizations Department at the Ministry of Public Health and Population, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Zaidan – Monitoring  and Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Public Health and Population, where they were received by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. Abdul Rahman Muhammad Abdo, Director of the Foundation in Ibb Governorate, Mr. Ahmed Sharif, and Director of the Psychological Support Center, Dr. Ali Al-Sabri.

The inspection visit dealt with an assessment of the Psychological Support Center, knowledge of the services provided, the mechanism of providing services, assessment of the staff, evaluating  all the departments  of the center, and discussing the difficulties and challenges facing the center, the most prominent of which is the existence of a gap in patients' medicines that is not sufficient to cover the actual need, as it was agreed to bridge this gap by providing medicines from the Ministry, government hospitals in the governorate, philanthropists, and organizations working in psychological care

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation commended the efforts of the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation in serving the community, especially those affected by the conflict, as the Psychological Support Center - Ibb is the only and reference center for psychological support within the Ibb governorate.
