On March 13, 2022,The Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation in Taiz set up a program of psychological and social support for children and their families affected by the conflict in Salh district . The program targets 150 children and their families, and the program lasts for five days.

On the first day of the program, the opening match of the volleyball tournament was held, in which 8 teams from different districts participated.

A free drawing workshop for children, boys and girls, was also held in the open air, where drawing is considered one of the best methods for dealing with children that are not governed by language or culture, in addition to the possibility of knowing children's thoughts and feelings through drawing. The creativity of some children has been observed in their drawings.

The activities of the program will continue in the coming days by completing the volleyball championship, conducting group and individual psychological sessions, in addition to raising community awareness for the families of the affected children.

This program comes within the Foundation's activities and efforts to provide psychological and social support to those in dire need.
