On March 22, 2022,Dr. Rajeh Al-Maliki, Director of the Public Health and Population Office, inaugurated, at the Psychiatric Support Center in Taiz, the second medical camp for psychiatric patients, organized by the Psychiatric Care Foundation with the support of pharmaceutical companies.
The camp provides health care services and treatments for psychiatric patients from various districts of Taiz governorate, whose numbers increased during the war and who have no ability to purchase medicines.
At the inauguration, Dr. Rajeh Al-Maliky praised the camp, which primarily serves patients who cannot afford the costs of psychotropic medications . He also thanked the camp's official sponsors, the Psychiatric Care Foundation, and everyone who contributed to the establishment of this camp.
In turn, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Bakari, Deputy Director of the Social Affairs Office, stressed the importance of the camp.It is worth noting that the camp will provide free treatments and medicines to all targeted psychiatric patients during its three-day period.
