Celebrating the International Day Against Child Labor
In conjunction with the International Day Against Child Labor, the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation implemented an awareness campaign in "Child Labor and its Psychological Effects", targeting 53 parents whovisit the psychological support centers.
The awareness session discussed with the definition of the child and the phenomenon of child labor, explaining the laws relating to child protection. It also addressed the causes of child labor and the negative risks of child labor physically, psychologically and socially, and how to confront this phenomenon.
Through this session, the Foundation aimed to shed light on the impact of the crisis that Yemen is going through in increasing the rate of child labor and how to protect them from social and psychological repercussions.
