On October 27, 2022, the National Cancer Control Foundation, in partnership with the Psychiatric Care  Developmental Foundation, held an awareness of breast cancer, targeting 36 female beneficiaries of the psychological support center and their families and female workers in the center.

Dr. Moaz Al-Sharihi, raised awareness about breast cancer, its causes, symptoms, and how to prevent it. The importance of early detection was also emphasized in containing the tumor and treating it before it spreads, thus increasing the chances of recovery, avoiding intensive and harsh treatment and preserving the integrity of the breast. Thus, it helps to treat the disease better.

This awareness comes as part of the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, and in the framework of the joint cooperation between the Psychiatric Care  Developmental Foundation and the National Cancer Foundation.
