In conjunction with the 16 Days of Activism campaign, the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation held an open day for women and girls.

 

The Psychiatric  Care Developmental Foundation organized a special day for women, on the occasion of the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women, with the participation of 45 visitors to the Psychological Support Center.

 

The open day included many activities, entertainment and awareness events, and competitions that emphasize the rejection of violence against women. The campaign slogans for this year were also discussed, which affirm women's right to life and their rejection of all forms of violence. Moreover,Some women also talked about their experiences and how they fought gender-based violence.The participating women were trained on how to get rid of the psychological pressures resulting from violence.

 

During the day, the social worker gave a lecture on gender-based violence, its nature, the causes of this violence, and how to combat this phenomenon.

 

At the end of the day, the participants dipped their hands in paint and placed a palm sign as a sign against gender-based violence.
