On December 5, 2022, the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation in partnership with the Horizon Foundation, implemented an awareness and group psychological support session targeting Al-Firdous Orphanage in Aden Governorate, where the psychologist introduced the Foundation and the services it provides. After that, the psychologist carried out a set of awareness-raising activities including Violence and its types, the difference between sex and gender, the importance of our social roles, and caring for the health of our bodies. A range of recreational activities were also discussed to highlight the importance of cooperation, participation, self-expression, and non-verbal communication.

At the end of the day, symbolic gifts (personal hygiene bags) were distributed to the girls, as the girls were very happy with it.

 In conclusion, the supervisor of Al-Firdaws Orphanage thanked the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation and the Horizon Foundation for the visit, which she considered moral and psychological support for the girls in the home.
