Under the theme "Women are sisters of men "

On 8 March 2023, the Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation organized an interactive session on the occasion of International Women's Day entitled "Women in Society" at the Foundation's MHPSS Centers.

The session included an explanation of women's role in society and its importance in the advancement of society and their ability to change positively in those societies. Their remarkable presence in various aspects of life and their determination to stand by and support men is evidence that they are essential to the process of change in society.

Two of the female beneficiaries also spoke about their success stories and their recovery journey, where their stories were inspiring and encouraging for the female beneficiaries who are still recovering.

At the conclusion of the event, the MHPSS  female staff  and female beneficiaries were honored on this occasion in recognition of their efforts and dedication to community service.
