The Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation implemented a community advocacy campaign against cyber extortion to which women and girls are subjected, targeting parks, malls and institutes in Taiz Governorate. The campaign included the distribution of 2000 awareness brochures on cyber extortion.

The campaign aims to raise awareness among society about how to prevent cyber extortion crimes and how to deal with it if it occurs, and to disseminate laws related to the punishment of electronic extortion in accordance with the text of Yemeni law.
