Psychiatric care implements a campaign to educate students on how to deal with cyber extortion in Aden Governorate.
The Psychiatric Care Development Care foundation organized an awareness campaign for school and university students on how to deal with cyber extortion targeting women and girls, entitled: 'from fear to protection and confrontation'.
The campaign comes in coordination with the office of education in aden and the university of Aden, and targets primary and secondary school students in the districts of sheikh othman and Al-mansoura districts, and the university of science and technology in Aden.
The campaign included the distribution of awareness instructions and advice to students on introducing ways to deal with extortionists, and the use of proper methods in dealing with smartphones and applications for personal protection for women and girls.
In this regard, the director of the PCF in aden, Ms. mennatallah abdo salman, explained that the foundation seeks to raise community awareness among women and girls on ways to deal with the phenomenon of cyber extortion that our country suffers from.
Ms.salman pointed out that the awareness program targets several public and private schools, in which psychological and social guidance is given to students warning them not to be afraid and to have the courage and confidence to report any harassment or blackmail that may be exposed to them from the weak souls, and to continue to secure their personal data and accounts and inform parents.
