The Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation launches a conference on the establishment of child protection committees in Al- Salh District
The Psychiatric Care Development Care Foundation launched the conference 'Establishing Child Protection Committees' at Uqba Bin Nafi School and Al-Khansaa School in Salah District, which aims to enhance education and protection for children in light of the current conflict, as well as part of efforts to improve the lives of children and ensure their protection under the difficult conditions they live in.
At the conference, committees were formed from (parents, youth, women leaders, community leaders, teachers), whose role will be through their periodic meetings to discuss various children's issues and develop action plans to provide a safe and protected environment for them and promote their rights.
This conference reflects the commitment of PCF and its partners to promoting mental health and protecting children's rights in conflict-affected areas.
It is worth mentioning that this activity comes within the community empowerment project to promote education and protection for children in light of the conflict in Taiz Governorate – Yemen. the community empowerment project for enhancement of education and protection for children under conflict situation in Taiz City- Yemen, funded by the Japanese government - Accept International.
