On Thursday, January 21, 2021, the Psychiatric Care foundtion held a training course entitled Needs Assessment Mechanism - Dr. Majed Al Sharjabi.
The course aimed to improve and enhance the capabilities and skills of the institution’s staff in how to use modern methods of needs assessment. The focus of the course was on
Establish a clear strategic plan.
Clarity of purpose and goal.
Use and utilization of secondary data.
The clear commitment of the evaluators.
Use community resources to facilitate assessment procedures to avoid impediments.
Integration with the target group's community by involving them in the evaluation.
Utilizing and harnessing resources (nature, human, and societal).
Performing problem analysis and finding solutions to fill the gaps.
Emphasizing the competence of the evaluation team.
