The Psychiatric Care Developmental Foundation received more than 6500 calls and provided psychological and family counseling services (hotline) to a number of 4741 beneficiaries from all societal groups. Where calls are received from service seekers from residents of all governorates of the Republic of Yemen by calling the free number (8000202) from any landline or mobile phone. The hotline is supervised by a specialized staff of psychiatrists and psychologists on a daily bases, 12 hours a day from 8:00  am to 8:00 pm. The hotline is the first support for persons who cannot access specialized psychological centers and serves as a way to refer cases that need treatment and special care to the specialized psychological centers supported by the United Nations Population Fund.
